Early Intervention
For many children, nothing is more painful than feeling out of place or inadequate. Often, treatable disabilities are the cause of these feelings. Left untreated, that early childhood experience of sadness can lead to an adult lifetime of despair. The Early Intervention program is designed to help children between the ages of 3 and 5 overcome areas of delayed development. The program advocates on behalf of these youngsters, ensuring they receive appropriate special educational services. Children are referred by SEED Inc. and placed in programs of varying lengths, from 3 months to 3 years of age. Children can receive speech therapy, occupational and physical therapy and other special instruction.
