Learning Center

APM’s mission of strengthening the community “one individual at a time” is never more evident nor more rewarding than watching adults realize that learning is a lifelong mission and one is never too old to learn.   There is no braver adult than the one who decides to go back to school.  Facing down former learning impediments, developing relationships with concerned teachers, and working to achieve one’s highest potential is what this program is all about.   Whether the need is to complete requirements for a GED, brush up on basic skills to enhance job performance, practice for a placement test or gain resume writing skills, the Community Learning Center is helping adult students step into a brighter future.  We conduct classes for adults 18 years of age and older from all income levels, including Public Welfare recipients. Classes are offered in English and Spanish.  This program provides Educational classes for Adults ages 18 years and older from all income levels including Public Welfare recipients.
