Proyecto Escalera
APM casts a wide safety net for patients fighting drug and
alcohol problems. Proyecto Escalera is a 24-unit, single room facility for
homeless individuals who have been drug and alcohol-free for a period of six
months. Recognizing the complex and often multi-layered special needs of those
with HIV or mental and behavioral health issues, Escalera offers a chance to
live in a positive atmosphere where they are accepted and respected.
Our program provides the following:
o
Case management to the residents
o
24 hour supervision
o
Meals provided by Manna.
o
Clients receive support through Alcoholics (AA) and
Narcotics (NA)
Anonymous group meetings.
